Absence and a pistol

I sincerely apologize for my long absence. Life’s evil machinations have been bothering me quite a bit the past few days. My schoolwork has been amassing far too quickyl for me to disperse, and problems have arose in my social life. The forthcoming week brings good tidings though. Not a single academic worry to stumble through for five whole days. This leaves a lot of time for progress.

Speaking of which, I have made a pistol (my first one!) as a show of productivity.

It isn’t much, but I can’t think of anything to add on top of the body. Also, I might darken the wood a little.

Also, I removed the story. I plan on changing it to be set on Earth instead of Calradia. The factions would have about the same properties though.

The first paragraph is good, but I started running out of creative juices on the second paragraph. Yes, I did go with the Center of the Earth theme. The story isn’t final, so leave a comment!

The Hats of the Gentry

Well, I haven’t been doing much in terms of the mod, but I did make a few hats! The hats of the Gentry. Nothing steampunk, but that is what gentlemen wore. I’m missing the boater, but that’s an easy one I can do another time.

A bowler hat, fedora and tophat respectively.

I’ll probably make steampunkish variants when I feel like it, maybe add an eyepiece or goggles. I’ll add a monocle to the tophat as well probably. These’ll be variants and you would still be able to choose non-accessorized hats. Now if only I could put wigs, eh?

Also, don’t worry about the colors, they’ll all be in shades of gray, brown and black. 😀
Why kill people if you can’t be stylish doing it, eh?

Finally, about the Fedora, it appeared as early as 1891 apparently, so it fits the time frame of the mod.

P.S. The mod is set in a time which is equivalent to the 1890’s period of Victorian Britain, I don’t know if the mod itself will be on Earth though. Definitely no aliens!

Anyway…

Well I’ve been working on the project way back since July, but only seriously started with it around 2 or 3 days ago. I’ve gotten some work done. Nothing big, just a few models.

This is Tuckles from the TaleWorlds Mount&Blade Forum

This is my blog for the in-development Steampunk Mod I’m making for Mount&Blade.

Here you’ll see updates such as models, concept art, mod info, as well as backstory.

Eventually you’ll see screenshots and stuff. The release should be in The Repository.

Hopefully the updates will be biweekly at least.
